They spent an entire half of an hour enjoying the pure goodness of a run. They were now resting beside a giant boulder which seemingly appeared out of nowhere.

Izzabellasd' breathing soon returned to normal, and she laughed again. She'd never had that much fun on the farm.

Richard started a fire with his flints, caught a few fish, and with the silverware that he bought with a successful fishing trip, he cooked his dinner.

The next day, Izzabella didn't come to meet him, and wasn't anywhere to be seen in the town.
The next few days, there was still no news from her, until the news finally leaked out.
"Did'ja hear what happened the the little Kristin girl? I heard she's got herself Malaria. The poor dear, she's too fragile, I bet she won't be one of the few to make it." a few women gossiped as they stood outside the general store.

Richard heard the gossips and was worried about her. Witness was in a rather bad mood, not having seen Lady for days, since Izzabella, the malaria and all that.
With a desert flower, he decided to go visit her.
