"Glad you could make it." greeted Peeta, as Colt tried to look innocent, trying to keep what he just heard a secret. "We have must to discuss."

Katniss moved over to were Peeta was sitting and bent down, kissing him lightly. (they're probably on camera so they have to still act like theyre madly in love. Im team peeta and think she really should be and is... ) I sat down ad looked Colt over suspiciously. He wasn't looking me over and smirking at me. Which was really wierd.

OOC: Well this takes place around the 100th Hunger Games, so they had kids and kinda are in love.


IC: Colt tried to look normal as possible but his nerves were getting to him.

Peeta broke the silence. "So. What talents do you two have?" he asked curiously. It was a good question, and one that could turn the entire Games around.

[firestorm]

ooc- well I placed it as the 76'th hunger games...... it says Prim would be 15 by then in the first post I believe.

I didn't think that I should reveal my talents with Colt there. But why not? I had no chance anyways. "My sister tells me I'm really good at throwing knives. I've only ever done it once, but it was really easy." I said, pulling the fawn carving out of my pocket, and rolling it around in my fingers. Tears stinging my eyes, as I looked at the dark black, shining eyes of the little fawn that my sister had spent so long working on.

"Impressive." Peeta remarked as he admired the figure. He turned to Colt, who had an embarrassed face. "Colt? What are you talented with?" Peeta had a questioning look, and it made Colt that much more nervous.

"Uum. I don't really, have any talents. But I have been called strong." he admitted, trying to hide his face. "Like that'll change anything in the Games. Even she has a better chance of living than I do!"

[firestorm]

I ducked my head down, staring down at my hands. What did he mean? I had almost no chance of surviving these games.
Katniss sat down next to Peeta, lacing her fingers through his own. "Well there must be something you are good at Colt. Even Peeta's talent for painting saved his life." she says.

ooc sorry just woke up.

He nodded. "That's what training is for. You'll find something you're good at. Trust me." he said, placing his hand on Colt's shoulder.

Colt smiled, but remained unsure. "Thanks." he said gratefully. "Now, we need to talk about strategy. You'll have a few days training with the other tributes. Try not to show them too much. When you're in private training , then you show them what you've got."

[firestorm]

I nodded my head, still refusing to look up from my hands.

"Why don't you both get some sleep so Peeta and I can talk more about strategies?" Asks Katniss. Without questioning her, I silently got up from the table, and moved over to my room. I opened up the door, and stood in the door frame, utterly amazed. This room was bigger than my entire house back in District 12, and nicer too. There were buttons all over the room. I was pretty sure I wouldn't even be able to test out all of the buttons that were on the sink in the bathroom much less the entire room while I was here. I climbed into bed, and quickly cried myself to sleep, having terrible dreams of getting to see my family again, but after a while, President Snow himself came and stabbed me in the back with a large, serrated gold knife. I snapped awake, but it was so dark, I finally fell asleep again, only to more nightmares however.

I arose the next morning extremely early, my body covered in a sheen of cold sweat. I didn't want to go to sleep again. It only meant more nightmares.I climbed out of bed and stepped into the shower. There were even more buttons in here regulating water temperature, pressure, pulse and different scented shampoo's and lotions. After a while I stepped out of the warm water, dried off and dressed myself in a plain t-shirt and shorts, put the fawn statue in my pocket, and stepped out of my room. I found myself wandering along the corridors until I found myself at the door to the roof. I tested the door knob. It was unlocked, so I stepped out onto the roof, allowing the cool breeze to hit me. Finally air. I could now control my breathing enough not to hyperventilate. I was so afraid, I curled up against the wall of the garden, and began to cry again. Cameras were probably pointing at me right now, but I didn't care. I pulled the little fawn carving out of my pocket again and began to twirl it through my fingers, tears running down my cheeks again, and falling onto the cement floor.

Colt was in his room, clutching a picture of his family. It was the only thing he could sneak in, and the only thing that reminded him of home. If he won, he didnt know what he would do. He suddenly heard the cry of a girl. Investigating the sound of sorrow, he opened the door of his room. He checked the other rooms, but found no one. He noticed a small door in the ceiling, so he hoisted himself onto the door. As he pressed his ear to it, the noise of crying loudened. He opened it, only to see the other tribute. "You okay?" he asked, a concerned look on his face. Back home he was a bully, but deep down, he didn't want to be.

[firestorm]

My eyes flicked up at his voice, and sat up, wiping my nose and drying my eyes. "No, I don't want to be here. I want to go home." I said, my lip trembling as I tried to keep in my tears.

ooc- sorry, low muse.. watching a movie. I love Toy Story 3, is such a cute movie.
also I'm writing a script for a youtube movie making group, it's the story of the red-headed Avox girl and I need someone to proof read it. I finished scene one of chapter one and am working on scene two, but would you like to proofread at least some of it. I've written stories and fan fictions before but this is my first script.

I'll proof read it. My dad's an editor so that's convenient.

IC: "Neither do I. But we still have to. It's a legacy that had gone on for downed of years." He looked out at the brilliant view from the building

"I know... The odds just weren't in my favor. But I still want to go home. I miss my father, my mother, my sister. Everyone." I murmur, curling my arms around my knees and hugging them close to my chest. "I'm not going to make it you know. I probably won't make it past the cornucopia." I say, I wouldn't get ANY sponsors if someone heard that, but luckily the wind was blowing really hard and it was very unlikely anyone could hear me at all.

[faolan]

"You can't say that. Look at Katniss and Peeta. No one thought they'd when." he pointed out. "If I die in there, I want to do it knowing that I tried my hardest."

[firestorm]

"They weren't twelve with no practice of killing. Who knows if they'll even have knives? What if they don't?! Colt, I don't want to die!" I murmured, burying my face between my knees.
