Standing at the top of the highest peak in her land, Delia swept her crystal blue gaze over the territory. Her dark brown fur rippled gently in the breeze, the feathers behind her left ear blowing softly. She tipped her head back and let out a loud howl to tell the wolves around the surrounding area to keep out of her territory. Beware the Wolves of The North! Their teeth like sharp, white pearls. Coats as soft and thick as clouds. Instincts sharper than a knife. Beware the Wolves of The North!Delia's howl soon slowed to a stop and she looked over her land again. Her land. Belonging only to her pack. Belonging to the Wolves of the North. The protectors of the innocent, the talented hunters of caribou. None of the wolves in her pack were seen or unseen without the feathers of their brothers in flight. Delia's brother in flight was the rarest bird of all to her land; the blue mockingjay. No other wolf of her pack was fortunate enough to have the feathers of this bird. They either had the feathers of common birds, not-so-common birds, or slightly rare birds.

Pale Moon shivered at the howl, a warning to keep away. He stopped in his tracks. There was a fierce debate in his mind, heed the warning, or step forward and take it straight on.

Blue glanced around, but she did not fear these wolves, though she was a loner she'd lived in these lands for many years. Thiz was her home! And she was going to take it back.
She returned the howl, though her was asngry and determined. She then raced towards the back, a black robin feather in her copper ccolored fur fluttering in the air as she flew over the hills.

The second howl came, full of anger, and revenge. The origin of the howl was surprisingly close, and Pale Moon didn't like it.

Blue was coming closer and she soon sented the other wolf close by. She growled angrily, Getting even faster still.

Pale Moon now knew the meaning of pure panic. He ran, or rather limped. He cursed the careless fall he had days ago, fully knowing that he could not defend himself against any wolf in his condition.

She leaped out of the trees, tackling the wolf onto his back, her front paws planted firmly on his shoulders, she bared her sharp fangs and growled loudly in his ear.
"Get out!" she roared, "This was my home first! Not some stupid packs! My pups and I need this land more than you do!" she growled, her eyes burning cold fire.

Pale Moon gave a submissive whimper. He had no idea what she was talking about, he was part of no pack and claimed no land. His caught sight of the feather but gave it no thought, as his mind was filled with images of himself getting torn apart. (argh, I missed by half an hour...)

She growled, he didn't smell like any other wolves but he wouldn't take the chance.
"Leave!" she growled again, snapping at his throat, but before she hit his skin, she pulled away, looking terrified yet her ees filled with rage as she stared at something behind the wolf.
"What are you two strays doing here?! Don't you know that this land now belongs to the wolves of the north?!?! Or are you too stupid to comprehend?!" he spat with a smirk, oh, Blue, so I guess you never got the message to leave once you were banned from the pack then. 'll just have to teach you another lesson." he cackled, leaping at her.
